Making Jollof Spaghetti is almost the same as making the Nigerian Jollof Rice, I only add a little twist to this recipe to make it a more suited for Spaghetti.   1. It's 1 of pkt Golden Penny Spaghetti.
  2. Prepare 150 ml of Vegetable Oil.
  3. You need 2 tbspn of Tomato Puree.
  4. It's 2 of Full Cups ground Sombo/Atarodo/Fresh Tomatoes & Onions.
  5. You need of Seasoning:3pairs Knorr Chicken Cubes, Curry/Thyme(6cubes).
  6. It's 1 tbspn of Salt.
  7. It's 2 of small size Smoked Titus Fish, or 1 Medium sized.

Jollof spaghetti is spaghetti cooked in tomato sauce and spices just like one would cook jollof rice but using spaghetti instead. Some people also call it spaghetti jollof or Jollof pasta. Jollof spaghetti is a delicious alternative to everyday Nigerian Jollof rice. This recipe is incredibly delicious and cooks way faster than the rice version.

Spaghetti jollof & torn titus smoked fished step by step

  1. First, put Water in a Pot, add the Salt(1tbspn), & 1tbspn of Oil, & place on heat to boil...Add the Spaghetti while the Water's boiling & leave for 10mins.... Get the Smoked Titus Fish & tear up into pieces.....
  2. Next Blend the Fresh Tomatoes, Sombo, Atarodo & Onions to preference.
  3. Strain Spaghetti into a Strainer, & put same Pot back on heat to dry off....
  4. Pour the 150ml of Vegetable Oil into the Pot, & fry the Torn Titus Fish, sprinkling 1pair of the Knorr Stork Cube into it.....
  5. When the Fish is fried golden brown or crispy, add the Tomato Puree(I prefer the St Rita brand) & fry with the Fish.....
  6. Pour on the blended Fresh Veggies mixture & let it cook for 4Mins, add your Stork Cubes, Curry & Thyme.
  7. Wash the strained Spaghetti under your Kitchen Water Tap, & pour into the Pot on heat & turn to incorporate.....
  8. Let it cook for 15-20mins, or as u prefer & Voila....it's ready to serve....I had to keep it simple, as this was a Weekend of 'using what u have' in Pantry...it's bn that kinda Weekend...but, all good...We shan't go hungry, IJMN....🙏.
